Flutter By Wednesday # 103 - Blue, Green and White!

Good morning and welcome to another Flutter By Wednesday!! This week's challenge is a color challenge...blue, green and white...as well as a butterfly, fairy or angel. How fun! For my card, I had colored up my little Victoria Case Flutter By but she didn't fit the front of my card, so I thought I would add her to the inside and I think it finished up rather nicely! I used my cuttlebug to emboss the cardstock pieces on the front of my card. I used Divine Swirls, Paisley and Swiss Dots. The butterflies are from a Martha Stewart punch and are on glittery paper and the layout is from my CTMH Wishes book.

Be sure to flutter over to Flutter By Wednesday blog to see what the rest of the VERY talented DT came up with and be sure to play along! We're trying a new link system so we'll see all your cards right away. You'll find the instructions how to use this on the FBW blog. Can't wait to see what you create!

Happy fluttering!

Thank You...

Pls scroll down for todays Project Tuesday post!

Hi there! I have a card order to do and thought I would share. Dana just celebrated her son's 1st birthday, Thomas the Train theme. So she asked me to come up with something simple using a train. I looked up Thomas and followed the color scheme and added liquid applique for the puffy smoke. The card, train and thank you are all from my New Arrival cartridge. I sent this sample to Dana and here's what she had to say;

"The card looks GREAT!!! I'm SO looking forward to getting them in the mail, hopefully it will be sooner rather than later. I'm excited to see them in person :)"

I love when I get a response like that!! So, I'm off to finish up the thank you's and get them in the mail. Have a great night!

Project Tuesday - Altered Photo Frame

Good morning! Today over at Project Tuesday, we're being asked to make an altered photo frame. We have had some health issue's here, so I didn't get a chance to do mine, but I wanted to showcase one that Ashleigh made me recently. I love this and just have to find the right photo for it. I think one of her and I would be perfect! Be sure to hop over to Project Tuesday this week to try your hand at the altered frame! You'll find the link there as well as a ton of inspiration from the awesome DT!!

Puppy Photography

I had to share these. See that 'pond' the pups are in?? That's actually the back corner of our yard. There is no 'pond'! Someone has been emptying their well (we think) into our backyard. It's the only thing that makes sense as that's ALOT of water back there and both our cottage neighbors are the same. Gotta love it! Well, the pups certainly do! They're having a blast back there! I just thought I would share.

Happy Birthday!

Good morning! I hope everyone has been enjoying their weekend, we're off to see Alice In Wonderland this afternoon. This is a little card I put together last night. It was supposed to be for a DT call at Tales From Pollycraft, but I came down with something on Friday afternoon and it was like someone drained every ounce of energy from me, so I didn't get it in. Oh well, I had with the card! The card is done using a layout from my CTMH 'Wishes' Card book (LOVE this book!) the paper is from CTMH Tinkerin' and the image is from Tales From Pollycraft. I did him in fun flock and then did the icing in stickles.

I hope you like it!!

Made With Love & Introducing "Bella Bunny"

Good morning! Well, I came home last night to a nice little surprise from my daughter. Isn't this adorable? She even used liquid glass on it. I was so proud of her and I love this. Another for the keepsake box. It's getting quite full! I've helped her to enter this in some challenges, so she's quite excited!

I'd also like to introduce you to 'Bella Bunny'! You can find her at Stamps and Smiles and she's a digi image. I was looking for something for my niece, Isabella (we call her Bella Bunny) and Jennifer emailed me and said in honor of my niece, she made Bella Bunny!! Thank you SO much, Jennifer! She's adorable! I'm working on a little easter surprise for Bella using, of course, Bella Bunny. Stay tuned!!

Introducing Bunny Girl!

**second post for today, please scroll down for today's Flutter By Wednesday project**

If you haven't had a chance to visit Karen's Doodles, you should really check it out! I LOVE her digi images! She has also just released her first children's book, how exciting for her! So, this little image is called "Bunny Girl" and isn't she darling??? When I saw her, I fell in love and had to order her AND "Bunny Boy" which you'll see soon enough. They are both so sweet!

For my card, I used a 4" circle template and then I masked it with Tim Holtz "Time" masking using CTMH "Heavenly Blue" ink. I also added some flowersoft on her basket as well as a window bubble over the eggs and the bling from Michaels. I kept the card cute and simple as I wanted 'Bunny Girl' to really be the main focus. I hope you like it!

Flutter By Wednesday # 102 - A Showcase

Good morning and welcome to another Flutter By Wednesday! I hope you all had a chance to play along last week for a chance to win some yummy candy!! This week's challenge is 'open' but please be sure to have a butterfly, fairy or angel on your creation. Be sure to hop over to the FBW blog and see what the rest of the amazing DT came up with and be ready to be inspired!! Hope you can play along this week...just remember to link your card in Mister Linky so we can all come and be inspired by you too!!

For my creation, I chose to finish up my CTMH "My Creations Memory Showcase". I used "Life's Delights" paper pack and the stickers came with the kit. I added a couple butterflies as well. I didn't really have anything in mind when I started it, so I added some photo's that I had of my son when he was about 5 or so (he'll be 14 this June) as well as my nephew's 3rd b-day (he'll be 7 this July), one of my fav pics of my brother and his daughter (who's now 2) and some puppy photo's etc. As you can tell, I'm a little behind in my photo's, but I think it came together quite nicely! I hope you like it to!

Happy crafting, friends!

Feeling Under The Weather?

Hi all! I have had a busy day and didn't get a chance to post this. We had some crazy news last night. On Monday, Andrew's best friend Thomas was here and spent the night. Thomas is like another son here...he's treated like our own kid's. He was up sick all night, but didn't tell anyone till Tuesday morning. He was still sick Tuesday and complained that his stomach was sore. We all thought it was the stomach flu as his family had been sick as well. Well, last night I get a call from his mom and he's on his way into surgery...turns out he had appendicitus! Once they got in there, they saw it had burst and they figure it had burst on Tuesday. He was in surgery for 2 hours and has 4 new holes in his 'rock hard' (Thomas's words..lol) stomach. Andrew and I went to see him tonight and he looks good and I tell ya, it's good to see him. He called me this morning to let me know how everything went and sounded awesome. Turns out it wasn't so good once the anesthetic wore off and he had a rough day.

GET WELL SOON, THOMAS! HERE'S TO A SPEEDY RECOVERY!

So, I decided to make this card for him and used a High Hopes image from my friend Monica (Thanks Monica!) Isn't he cute? I thought it was perfect! The paper is CTMH "Caboodle" and I added some prisma glitter as well. I'm not sure if he really saw it as he's on some pretty heavy morphine for the pain. Carrie thought it was cute though!

You Hold The Key To My Heart...

Hello! Well, we're down to the last couple days of March Break. The kid's have had a wonderful week as far as weather. We couldn't ask for better. I've been really trying to get back into scrapbooking and this is another layout I've done from my Aunt's wedding. I used CTMH "Felicity" paper and "Key To My heart" stamp set. Both are from previous campaigns and are no longer available. I LOVE this paper and hope they bring it out in the new catalogue! The stamp color is "Autumn Terracotta". I hope you like it. You can find the layout I used in CTMH "Cherish"

Simplicity In A Layout

So far, from the 6 layouts I have completed on my Aunt and Uncle's wedding, this is my favourite layout. I have been using my CTMH "Cherish" and for this one, I just went with an idea in my head. Thank you to mom and Nancy for advising on the pearls and flowers, they are the perfect touch. Again, I used a past CTMH campaign called "Felicity" for the paper and it's just perfect for the coloring. I'm really enjoying getting back into my layouts. I have some more pages to finish up for this album as I have alot of outside ones, then dinner/dance. Stay tuned for more layouts to come!

I have to admit, as I'm working my way through the photo's, I'm amazed more and more at the photography job I did. Seeing as this was my first, I was SO nervous, but these are just beautiful!! I'm proud of myself!
